The crystal-like sea water glistened in the morning light as I reached the Vanishing Island. Starfish and other marine animals will give you a warm welcome as they play hide and seek at the white sands.
It is merely a sandbar located at Malilipot, Albay formed by the typhoons that hit the region yearly. As the name implies, the island vanishes during high tide. But when the water is at its lowest, a paradise unfolds.
